If you'd like to know a bit more about me, read on.
Background Experience
From repairing tinnys to building complete boats, from servicing a jetski engine to doing a full wakeboard boat refit, I've covered a lot in over 7 years working in the marine industry.
I served my apprenticeship as a plant mechanic with a marine and civil construction company in the Orkney Isles at the far north of Scotland. I worked mainly outside and onsite on the companies wide and varying range of plant and boats. This led to developing skills that helped me adapt to each of the different types and manufacturers of plant.
For as long as I can remember I have loved inventing and making things, so as well as studying to become a plant mechanic I also trained to be a welder, and after that I haven't stopped learning about fabrication. As soon as I left school I bought a motorbike and I haven't looked back since. I've now combined all of my passions and turned them into a career.
Out of everything, I'm most passionate about adapting motorbikes, especially the off-road variety, to suit different jobs and riders. I'm currently working on a product range marketed under 'Yenkro', which will inlclude fairing kits, bash plates and other motorcycle accessories.Qualifications
I am a qualified Plant Mechanic and Welder. Qualifications include an SVQ in Construction Plant Maintenance (Level 3), an SVQ in Join Engineering Materials Through Thermal Joining Operations (Level 3) and an SVQ in Joining Materials by Welding.

Adventure Riding
I love my work but nothing beats throwing the swag on the bike and getting away from it all for a while. I'm no mx racer, but after competing in a few navigation rallies the bug has bitten hard, and I intend to do as many rally races as I can. Being able to get out and test what I build is also big bonus.
